Map & location

You see the land behind the house? And on the left? And just a little further,

THE SEA!

Touristic description

Here it is the south of Britany in the French Morbihan

To come in the Morbihan peninsula is to experience the iodized air, vivifying wind, generous sun and energising sea. You have direct access to natural landscape, by foot, by bicycle or horseback, so everybody can feel the charm of the place his own way.

Due to its wild coast, the Quiberon peninsula is renowned for being the loveliest of Europe.

Hikers and surfers equally enjoy these outstanding sites. East and south of the peninsula are shored by numerous fine sand beaches.

From this little seaside town you’ll be able to enjoy the pleasures of the sea shore and its surrounding, but also take departure to the islands of Belle-île, Houät and Hoedic.

The cottage

Our house is located in the St Pierre Quiberon village in a very quiet street (easy parking lot) just 300 m (984,25 ft) from the wild coast.

The cottage is the whole first floor of the house (90 square meters or 968,75 square feet) and proposes a private access so you can enjoy your privacy.

It is directed due south, which means very sunny, and with your own balcony to enjoy.

It also has been fully renovated in 2011, with modern facilities, practical and easy to maintain (but you also can chose to ask for us to do the last day cleaning-for 50 euros charges).

Outdoor

You have access to your own part of the flowered garden (fenced) for yourselves only, and a shady terrace. You dispose of numerous long chairs for sunbathing, while the hammock awaits you in the shadow of the tree.

Who are we?

Frederique and Xavier

After thirty years of fidelity to the Quiberon peninsula, we settled down there in 2003. Adopted Breton, we do not deny our northern origin (Lille city). So then “Ker ch’ti”, the cottage name comes from this mix, meaning “the house of the northman”.

While Xavier loves to cook the fishes of its catch, he also enjoys preparing the traditional dishes from the North like the potchevlech or the beef stew.

Together we enjoy antique hunting, making arty things or furniture in any old way, from salvaged materials like floated wood or various recycled antique pieces.

On site you’ll be able to discover some of our pieces of work.

Kitchen

The kitchen is absolutely practical and very well equipped, but also very luminous with the triple window. There is continuity between the space of the kitchen and the lounge, so you can keep socialising while cooking.

Like the rest of the place, the deco is absolutely unique and have a special charm with old butchery furniture, an old bakery scales (still operational!) and various old utilitarian artifacts

Bedroom one

The navy atmosphere of this 12 square meters bedroom is reinforced by home made floated wood deco. Double bed with pillow and duvet is completed by an “art nouveau” armchair, a chair and a beautiful old wooden cupboard at your disposal.

Bed linen, pillow and duvet cover on demand (extra fees: 10 euros per bed)

Bedroom two

The warmth of the “orange bedroom” and the floated wood lamps gives a cosy shelter with its double bed, and also a wooden barrelled baby cot.

A supplement mattress to be put on the floor can be added on demand.

Bed linen, pillow and duvet cover on demand (extra fees: 10 euros per bed).

From there you have a view on the moor, and if you wake up early enough (particularly during spring) you will be able to see the rabbit frolick happily.

Washbasin and tub with shower (new mixer faucet and shower head) and plastic tub for baby.

Chest of drawer, drying rack.

Iron and ironing board on demand (no fees).

The huge mirror with floated wood deco.
